Fathali M. Moghaddam is Professor, Department of Psychology, and Director of the Conflict Resolution Program, Department of Government, Georgetown University. He was born in Iran, educated in England, and previously worked for the United Nations and for McGill University. He has been involved in developing 'appropriate psychology for the non-Western world' since the late 1970s. He is the incoming editor of the APA journal 'Peace and Conflict: The Journal of Peace Psychology'.
